    Every strip is cut 10 cm longer than the room: walls are rarely straight, and the extra length lets the fitter finish the floor neatly against every wall.
    We cut with as few seams as possible. A seam is visible and wears faster, so this can take a little more material than strictly needed.
    Also needed
      The cutting waste is calculated for standard rectangular rooms. Does your room have slanted walls, round walls or many corners? Then count on extra cutting waste.
