Description

Osmo Wood Protector 4006 is a clear, microporous impregnation based on natural oils and waxes without biocides or preservatives. Thanks to its high physical wood protection, it is suitable for wood that is susceptible to mould. Osmo Wood Protector is highly water-repellent and, once dry, safe for people, animals and plants. The product is also suitable for treating and protecting children's toys.

Using Wood Protector
Osmo Wood Protector 4006 is suitable for all indoor wood such as floors, furniture and windows, but especially for wood that is susceptible to mould, for example wood in damp rooms such as bathrooms. Wood Protector is also suitable for treating outdoor wood that is susceptible to mould. Wood Protector 4006 is a clear product that makes the wood look as if it has been wetted, deepening the colour of the wood.

Please note: Osmo Wood Protector 4006 must always be used with a top coat. Indoors, think of Osmo Hardwax-Oil Original or TopOil, and outdoors Natural Oil Stain or Decking Oil.

Instructions for use

1. The wooden surface must be clean and dry. Old layers (such as lacquer and stain) must be completely removed.

2. The product is ready to use. Stir the tin well for at least 2 minutes.

3. Apply the Wood Protector thinly to the new or sanded wood with an Osmo brush, block brush or microfibre roller.

4. Let the Wood Protector dry for at least 24 hours (at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity). At lower temperatures or higher humidity, drying takes longer. Always ensure good ventilation, and do not apply in bad weather or rain.

5. The top coat must be applied within a week. Indoors you can use, for example, Osmo Hardwax-Oil Original or TopOil, and outdoors Natural Oil Stain or Decking Oil.
