Description
Transparent or opaque, satin and durable finish for wooden surfaces such as walls and ceilings. Osmo Interior Wax protects against dirt and moisture and is hard-wearing. The product is easy to apply and no intermediate sanding is needed. Interior Wax dries in 3 to 4 hours. The wax will not crack, flake or peel. The dry finish is safe for people, animals and plants (resistant to saliva and sweat and suitable for children's toys).
Interior Wax variants
There are two white variants of Osmo Interior Wax in the range: 7393 White Transparent and 7394 White Opaque. Both are suitable for treating untreated or sanded wood. 7393 gives the wood an even, transparent colouring in which the wood colour remains visible. With the opaque variant 7394, the wood colour disappears, but you still see the structure and grain of the wood.
Available sizes: 0.75 L and 2.5 L
1 L is enough for approx. 16 m² per coat.
Note: For surfaces already treated with Osmo or another brand or product, always do a test first. For renovation, we always advise applying a maximum of one coat. If more coats are applied, the second coat may not adhere and can easily be scratched off. The FAQ explains how to carry out a test.
Please note: Cloths used to apply or buff off Interior Wax must be rinsed with water because they carry a risk of spontaneous combustion. Always rinse cloths with water before throwing them in the bin.
Instructions for use
1. Stir the product well for 2 minutes. After opening the tin, the ingredients are separated. Always test on the surface first to check that the result has the desired effect.
2. Apply the first coat of Interior Wax very thinly with an Osmo microfibre roller or brush to the new or sanded wood.
3. Mistakes made during application can be corrected on the wet surface up to 15 minutes afterwards, such as roller marks or brush hairs.
4. Drying of the first coat takes about 3 to 4 hours (at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity). At lower temperatures or higher humidity, drying takes longer. Always ensure good ventilation, with windows and doors open.
5. Apply the second finishing coat thinly with Interior Wax as well.
6. Drying of the second coat in approx. 3 to 4 hours; see point 4.
