Osmo Country Colour – Opaque wood paint for outdoor use

Osmo Country Colour is a product based on oils and waxes that creates a protected surface after treatment. The surface is then resistant to water and dirt.

Osmo Country Colour is ideal for both new wood and previously treated wood. After treatment, the wood structure remains visible but with an opaque effect. The wooden surface is then resistant to all weather conditions and, once dry, not harmful to people, animals or plants.

Country Colour can be used to paint outdoor wood. This wood paint gives an opaque effect while keeping the wood structure visible. The advantage of Country Colour is that it protects against all weather such as sun and rain. Country Colour does not flake or crack, so you enjoy the treated surface for longer.

Country Colour is available in 21 different colours, six of which are RAL colours.
Hesitating between a few colours? We have samples of every colour, so you can test on a small piece of wood which colour gives the result you want.

Treating greyed wood
Has the wood turned grey? Then we recommend first treating it with Osmo Power-Gel Wood Reviver, which brings back the natural colour of the wood. Once dry, the wood can be treated with the Country Colour of your choice. We advise waiting 24 hours.

Please note: rough, old or wood that has been outside untreated often absorbs more product, so more Country Colour is needed than recommended. For new wood, we advise letting it weather for at least 4 to 6 weeks first, which makes it more resistant to the outdoor climate. After weathering, the wood can be de-greyed with Osmo Power-Gel Wood Reviver.

Maintenance
After treatment with Osmo Country Colour, it is important to maintain the wood well. Osmo Decking Cleaner is the product to clean your terrace, decking or fence. We recommend using it in spring and autumn.
